Our editorial standards (please read before you get in touch)

Advertising here is worth something only because readers trust Bellwether. To protect that trust, every commercial relationship follows these rules, without exception:

  • Everything sponsored is labeled sponsored. Readers always know what is paid placement.
  • Commercial links use rel="sponsored nofollow". In line with Google's guidelines, we do not sell links that pass PageRank.
  • No invented claims. We will not publish made-up promo codes, fake bonus figures or "guaranteed wins" language, in sponsored content or anywhere else.
  • Reviews, scores and rankings are not for sale. No payment buys a review, a better score or a place in a comparison or best-of list.
  • Responsible-gambling notices. Sponsored content carries an age notice (21+, or 18+ where that applies) and the 1-800-GAMBLER helpline.
  • We can say no. If a product is predatory, misleading or illegal for US users, we will turn the business down.

Frequently asked questions

No. Every commercial link on Bellwether uses rel="sponsored nofollow", in line with Google's link-spam guidelines. Passing PageRank for payment would harm our readers and our domain. If you need dofollow links, we are not the right fit.

Can I pay for a review or a better ranking?

No. Reviews, scores and rankings follow our methodology and are not for sale, in any package. Sponsored pieces sit apart from them and are labelled as sponsored.

How is sponsored content disclosed?

Every sponsored piece carries a visible "Sponsored" label at the top and a line explaining the commercial relationship. This is not negotiable. It protects you, us and the reader.

What does it cost?

It depends on format, placement and duration. We send the current rate card with the media kit. Our prices reflect a focused US audience of prediction-market readers, not raw volume.

Do you work with non-US or offshore platforms?

We cover platforms legally available to US users. We will not promote offshore or unlicensed operators to a US audience, for legal and ethical reasons. We accept compliant, US-facing products only.
