Fanatics Markets launches in 24 states on Crypto.com infrastructure

Correction, October 17, 2026: Earlier versions of this story said Fanatics Markets launched in early 2026 and that Fanatics had no gambling product before it. Fanatics Markets launched on December 3, 2025, ahead of DraftKings Predictions and FanDuel Predicts. Fanatics already ran a sportsbook through Fanatics Betting and Gaming. We have corrected the story below. We have not re-checked the app's current state list; check Fanatics Markets before you sign up.
Fanatics Markets, the prediction-market app from Fanatics, launched on December 3, 2025. It went live that day in 10 states: Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Utah. Fourteen more were listed as launching soon: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin. Together they make the 24-state rollout (Fanatics).
How it is built
Fanatics does not run its own exchange. Its app introduces customers to event contracts offered by Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA), which Fanatics' disclosure describes as "a CFTC-regulated exchange." Fanatics' regulatory footing comes from Paragon Global Markets, which it bought in July 2025. Paragon is registered with the CFTC as an introducing broker, is a member of the National Futures Association and operates as Fanatics Markets IB.
The split is common in this industry. The brand owns the app and the customer. The exchange handles listing, pricing and settlement. Crypto.com supplies the same exchange to its own app, OG, launched on February 3, 2026, and since June 2026 to FanDuel Predicts.
What you can trade
Fanatics planned two phases.
- Phase one, at launch: sports, finance, economics and politics.
- Phase two, planned for early 2026: crypto, stocks and IPOs, climate, pop culture, technology and AI, movies and music.
What the companies said
The chief executive of Fanatics Betting and Gaming said the app gives fans "a safe, and intuitive way to engage with the moments that move sports and culture." Crypto.com's global head of predictions said the company was "proud to be the partner of choice for Fanatics."
The retail angle
Fanatics' main business is licensed sports merchandise, sold online, in stadiums and through deals with the major US leagues. That gives it customer data and relationships that pure prediction-market platforms lack. At launch it had not announced any link between Markets and its merchandise or ticketing businesses.
How it compares
Fanatics went first among the big sports brands. DraftKings Predictions launched on December 19, 2025, in 38 states. FanDuel Predicts launched on December 22 in five states and opened non-sports markets in all 50 states on January 15, 2026.
Open questions at launch
- Phase two. Whether the wider set of markets would ship on schedule.
- More states. Fanatics had not said when or where it would expand beyond the 24.
- Retail links. Whether Fanatics would tie Markets to its merchandise business.
