Update, October 17, 2026: The welcome offer has changed. As of October 2026, new users get up to $100 in non-withdrawable Predicts Bonus for trading $1 or more on five days in a row, until October 20, 2026 (FanDuel). Since June 2026 the app has also listed contracts from Crypto.com's exchange (Yogonet). Earlier versions of this story described a $25 sign-up bonus and said the sports map reflected state objections. We could not support either claim and have corrected them. Our FanDuel Predicts review has current details.

FanDuel Predicts, the prediction-market app from FanDuel and CME Group, now offers markets in all 50 states. On January 15, 2026, FanDuel opened its finance, economics, commodities and crypto markets nationwide and added sports contracts in 13 more states, including California, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Delaware and Hawaii (Action Network).

The app first launched on December 22, 2025, in five states: Alabama, Alaska, North Dakota, South Carolina and South Dakota. Sports contracts now run in 18 states.

The CME Group partnership

FanDuel Predicts is the app of FanDuel Prediction Markets, a joint venture between FanDuel Group and CME Group. Contracts are listed on CME Group's derivatives exchanges and regulated by the CFTC. Customer accounts are held by FanDuel Prediction Markets LLC, a registered futures commission merchant and NFA member (FanDuel).

That structure puts the product under federal futures rules instead of state gaming law. It is why FanDuel can offer non-sports markets in every state.

The 18-state sports map

Sports contracts are live in Alaska, Alabama, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Utah (RotoWire, October 2026).

The list is not about state objections. FanDuel offers sports contracts only where online sports betting is not available, and keeps them out of states where it holds a sportsbook licence (Yogonet). Texas, California and Florida, three of the largest states without a FanDuel sportsbook, are on it.

18+ instead of 21+

FanDuel Sportsbook requires customers to be 21 in most states. FanDuel Predicts accepts users from 18, per FanDuel's promotion terms. Most state sports-betting laws set the minimum at 21. CFTC-regulated futures markets have generally allowed 18-year-olds.

A separate account

Predicts is its own app and its own account. Existing FanDuel Sportsbook or Fantasy customers need to sign up again, pass new identity checks and fund the account separately. Balances do not move between the products.

Where it fits

FanDuel is one of three big sports brands that launched prediction apps within three weeks. Fanatics Markets went first on December 3, 2025, using Crypto.com's exchange (Fanatics). DraftKings Predictions followed on December 19 in 38 states (InterGame). FanDuel's January expansion made it the first of the three to cover all 50 states. Kalshi, a CFTC-designated exchange since 2020, still offers sports in far more states. See our Kalshi review and DraftKings Predictions review.
